Developed with a colleague in the English Language and Culture department at the University of Reims, the weekly ESN group serves students and professionals looking to practice their skills in a real-world setting. The group is open to all levels and serves to enhance communication skills while encouraging intercultural relations in the community. ESN Reims organizes activities from trivia night to guest speakers who discuss job opportunities abroad and English language as a skill for employment.

ESN was developed at the request of students to practice their skills in a more social setting, having found that their classrooms did not serve day-to-day life experiences abroad. Though this request was made in regards to English, ESN encourages speakers of other languages to contribute to our events and spread intercultural and multilingual competencies throughout the community.
